Kiwanis Thrift Shop sells and accepts donations of a variety of secondhand items including books, furniture, electronics, etc. It is owned by the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and the shop is staffed by Kiwanis members and volunteers. All the money from sales goes to several charities and social agencies in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County.
Kiwanis has a large selection of books for sale, in a wide variety of subjects. Books are in used but in good condition and typically cost between $0.50 – $3.00 each. The book selection can be found near the electronics in a room just beyond the check-out lines and jewelry.
